Two Brothers Organic Farms Barnyard Millets
About the Product:
- Barnyard Millet is an indigenous variety of millet, also known as Sabut Sanwa, Varai, or Kuthiraivolly.
Usage:
- Millets can be utilized to create an assortment of Indian dishes such as Khichadi, Pulav, and Upma. Thoroughly rinse the Barnyard Millet several times and allow it to soak in water for 4-8 hours. It can then be sprouted or directly used to make Idli or Dosa batter. The pre-soaked or sprouted Barnyard Millet can be dried and ground into flour. This millet flour can be incorporated into regular atta for making Chapatis, Puris, Breads, and Cookies. Barnyard Millet resembles broken rice in taste and appearance when cooked, hence it is also referred to as Sanwa rice.
