For shades such as auburn, dark brown, or jet black, pre-treat your hair with a Henna application before using Indigo.

Pre-Indigo Henna Blend:

Let the Henna Powder steep in tea or coffee water overnight. You may add a slight touch of lemon juice if desired. Introduce yogurt or egg for extra conditioning. The following day, apply the mixture to clean, product-free hair for up to 90 minutes, based on the desired intensity. Rinse thoroughly with water, repeating as necessary. Avoid using shampoo. You may resume shampooing on your next wash day.

Indigo Blend:

Combine the Indigo Powder with warm water to create a paste. Apply to your hair using gloves if applying by hand, or a spatula. Allow it to sit for 45 minutes or longer, depending on your preferred intensity. Rinse thoroughly, then cleanse your hair with a clarifying shampoo.
