Double Horse Aval White Rice Flakes Thick
Preparation Method:
- Aval Unda: Grind Aval into a fine powder, take one cup (200g) of aval powder, add 1/2 cup (100g) of Double Horse jaggery powder, and 1 cup (200g) of grated coconut in a vessel and mix thoroughly until soft. Shape the mixture into small balls and garnish with raisins or cashew nuts.
- Aval Vilayichathu: Take one cup (200g) of Double Horse Jaggery and 1 cup (200ml) of water. Bring to a boil to create jaggery syrup with a single thread consistency. In a Kadai, add ghee and roast chana dal and cashew nuts. To this, add the strained jaggery syrup and combine with one cup (200g) of Aval, 1/2 cup (100g) of grated coconut, cardamom powder, and mix thoroughly. Serve once it has cooled.
- Aval Muesli: Enrich the Aval with fruit pieces (apple, banana, cherry, etc.), cashew nuts, and raisins. Add boiled milk and sugar and serve hot.
