Double Horse Aval Thick Rice Flakes
Preparation Method:
- Aval Unda: Pulverize Aval into a fine powder, take one cup (200g) of this Aval powder, incorporate 1/2 cup (100g) of Double Horse jaggery powder, and 1 cup (200g) of grated coconut in a bowl, and blend thoroughly until smooth. Shape the mixture into small spheres and embellish with raisins or cashew nuts.
- Aval Vilayichathu: Combine one cup (200g) of Double Horse Jaggery with 1 cup (200ml) of water. Boil to create a jaggery syrup with a single thread consistency. In a Kadai, heat ghee and roast chana dal and cashew nuts. Into this, incorporate the filtered Jaggery syrup, add one cup (200g) of Aval, 1/2 cup (100g) of grated coconut, cardamom powder, and mix thoroughly. Serve once it has cooled down.
- Aval Muesli: Enrich the Aval with pieces of fruit such as apple, banana, cherry, etc., along with cashew nuts and raisins. Add boiled milk and sugar, and serve hot.
