Perched on the undulating hills of Baba Budangiri in Chikmagalur, Thogarihunkal Estate is recognized as the cradle of Indian coffee. It is expertly managed by the Gowda brothers, Mallanna and Chenna Basave, whose lineage has been dedicated to the coffee craft since 1857. At an elevation of 1350 meters, the estate meticulously maintains distinct sections for Arabica and Robusta, with further classification by varietal. The Arabica strains cultivated here include Chandragiri, Selection 795, and exclusive micro lots of Selections 5 and 7.
